Moving dog park to along Rte. 202 is ill-conceived idea

The proposed new location of the dog park near to Rte. 202 is a very badly conceived idea. If a dog happens to get loose, they will be in immediate danger of heading toward what is a very busy road. Plus parking and lack of adequate shade in the summer are also issues at this new location, not to mention that it is far away from the trails in the woods that people can now easily access from the dog park. An informal poll of people who use the dog park regularly show that almost no one is in favor of this idea except the two people who are promoting it.

Dufresne

Ditto on the wrong info. for dogpark access...best route is via Taylor St. which is off of Rt. 202. Best aspect (besides the fact that it is the only dogpark around that area) is the friendliness of the other dogs/owners. Busiest time to go if you really want to meet up with a lot of other pups is Saturdays 12-2:30

Wrong info

You need to access the park via Taylor St, otherwise you will need to walk a half mile to the Puppy Park....which is fine by me, but sometimes my owner is lazy and wants to park right next to the play area!
