Rescue Organizations All New England All New England, MA 01850 YCR is a 501c3 non-profit tax exempt Chihuahua rescue organization serving New England as Yankee Chihuahua Rescue, Inc.
A network of volunteers helping Chihuahuas and Chihuahua-mix dogs.
The YCR objectives are:
•To rehabilitate and place homeless Chihuahuas and Chihuahua/Mixes in homes that meet the needs of each dog.
•To promote responsible pet guardianship through education, about how to choose the right dog and care for it, resulting in a rewarding experience.
•To maintain and strengthen good working relationships with veterinary professionals and other reputable animal rescue organizations.
•To insure every dog placed will never be homeless again.
Each home is carefully screened before placement. Each dog is evaluated for temperament, has a vet exam, is up to date on all shots, receives whatever other vet care is needed, and adult dogs are spayed or neutered before adoption.
