These guys are fantasticHi. I was a lifelong patient at Michigan Road. I was diagnosed with feline diabetes at age 9, and the vets took very good care of me, even though everyone thought I was a gonner. It took a lot of trial and error to get my levels right, and I didn't always respond well to insulin, but they did everythin they could to keep a poor kitty like e witha bum body in the best shape possible. I got 3 more wonderful, relatively healthy years with my family thanks to Michigan Road Animal Hospital. When it was time for me to pass, they gave me a room where my family could say goodbye to me and where I could spend my last few minutes with them. They cremated me, and one of the vet techs, who had taken care of me while my family was away a couple of times (I needed shots twice a day), delivered my ashes to our home in a nice canister inside a box with my name on it, and they all signed a card for my family. We never expected to receive that kind of treatment from a vet. If only people hospitals were so kind. My brother Cookie is probably their oldest patient, at 20 years, and he's also been with them since day one (we literally got sick the day we came home from the Humane Society together, so we have actually been with them since day one). We watched the clinic grow and it's just gotten better and better. We believe that his longevity is a testament to the quality of care that patients receive at Michigan Road, and we've seen probably every vet in there. posted: July 22nd, 2007 |
EXCELLENT PET CARE!!!I have been coming here for a long time! I love it! They can always fit you into their schedule, they remember your pets (and love them), and they really do care! Cato had to have emergency surgery and they worked with me to find a payment plan. They knew he was my baby and they did everything in their power to help me financially!!!! I love this place! And so does Cato! |
