The Dog House offers unique dog services for the Boise, Idaho area. Bring your dog to our Doggy Day Camp for a full or half day of supervised play. Need training? Our Leadership Class involves basic family dog obedience training for the dog, the owner and the family. Other dog training classes include Rally O and private training sessions. They also carry a line of specialty dog items in our retail store and we are distributors for Flint River Ranch Pet Food - a premium dog food that is baked for easier digestibility.

They call it KENNEL. We call it HOME. After picking my two sweet dogs up from the kennel last month, I swore to never do that again! They came home shaking, dirty, starving, and scared. It inspired me to re-work my large home to provide in-home, overnight care for indoor dogs. We welcome your well-behaved, indoor dogs into our home. They will be treated like family during your absence. *Requirements: current proof of vaccinations, potty trained, likes other dogs, people, spends time indoors. *We cater to indoor small to medium breed dogs. Geriatric, friendly dogs are very welcomed here, too. *Ratio: 5 family members to 3 overnight dogs (at the most). Because we want to maintain a homey atmosphere with the best care, the numbers will stay very low. We want to get to know and cater to your doggie the best we can. We also have two sweet dogs ourselves... *Doggies have access to one of our spacious living areas indoors, with a lot of room to move around. *Private Dining Indoors. (You are welcome to bring your own food our use ours). *Lodging: bring your doggie bed, favorite blanket, or use one provided! Kennel free, as doggies sleep in front of the fireplace together. (Bring kennel if doggie prefers kennel sleeping). They can watch a movie, listen to the radio, or be cuddled by one of us on any sleepless night. *Clean, disinfected slate floors. Clutter-free (except for when the doggies raid the toy box)! *Supervised playtime/romp time in the fully fenced, grassy backyard in north end, many times daily. *Daily log provided upon your return, with doggies daily routine while you were away. *Email updates with activity log, photo and or special home video provided with extra $5.00/day charge. *Special room available if your doggie needs its own space to sleep at night, with extra $10.00/day charge. *Introductory Price: $30.00/day (all sizes). *References available upon request. *Email with any questions. We are starting to take reservations beginning October 20th, 2008. We welcome you to come visit prior to leaving your dog.
