National Mall has nothing to do with shoppingWatch people play frisbee, play baseball..you name it it goes on here. spend a day just enjoying playing and walking to see the sites. Dogs are permitted on the mall on leash. According to the National Park Service, they are permitted up to the monuments except in indoor or covered areas. The mall is two miles long and is an excellent place for dog walking downtown. Dogs are not permitted on the walkways at the Vietnam or Korean War Memorials or inside the Washington Monument. |
