Rescue Organizations hart drive Torrington, CT 06790 Northwest Hills K-9 Rescue is a private,non-profit 501(C)3,all-volunteer organization devoted to saving dogs/puppies from kill shelters and provide education, and advocacy. We do not receive any government funding nor are we funded or operated by any national humane organization. We rely solely on contributions from individuals who care about animals to bring our services to the community. We are a group of volunteers who work full-time job and we do not have a facility of which you can come and visit. You must have an approved adoption application before meeting any dog or puppy. No dogs will be adopted out as guard dogs at a business. They must be adopted as loving family members only. By adopting an animal, you are giving the Northwest Hills K-9 Rescue permission to check on its welfare and to assure that all adoption policies are being met. If at any time you cannot care for the pet you adopted, it must be returned to NHKR. All adoptions are made at the discretion of NHKR, and an adoption may be denied at our discretion.
