Dr. Eric Carnegy
Dr. Eric Carnegy enjoys our busy small animal practice. Active in community pet related services, he is an avid gardener and the father of two teenaged children. Two dogs round out the household and skiing, biking and other interests keep him busy.
Dr. Shannon Lindsay
Dr. Shannon Lindsay joined the practice as an associate in June of 2001. A 1995 graduate of the University of Saskatchewan, she and her husband have an active household with their young son, three Labrador Retrievers, and house cats. They enjoy hiking, kayaking and outdoor sports in their spare time!
Dr. Pauline Giffin
Dr. Pauline Giffin joined our staff in June 2004 as a full time associate. A 2003 graduate of the Atlantic Veterinary College, Dr. Giffin and her husband live in Fall River with their pets.
Community Affiliations
SPCA: Dr. Carnegy has had a long time affiliation with both the local and provincial branches of the SPCA and generously donates his time to these societies. At the present time, he serves as veterinarian on staff for the Metro SPCA.
Halifax Regional Muncicipality: Due to the success of the pilot project in 2001, our hospital acts as a deputy office so that pet owners may register their dogs and obtain their city tags.
CBC Radio: Dr. Carnegy appears on a regular basis on the popular radio show Maritime Noon, answering phone-in questions on pet care.
Students: Each year, in conjunction with local high schools, interested students have the opportunity to 'job shadow' and observe all aspects of the day to day activities in a busy metropolitan hospital. Students also participate from various other programs as well.

AAHA: Our hospital is fully accredited by the American Animal Hospital Association. This we believe to be a truly beneficial affiliation as it affords us many opportunities for continuing education.
