“Local member of NOKA No-Kill Alliance. Rescues cats with the motto "Until there are none, adopt one." Donations can be dropped off at the Pet Parade address above. The program is run by a network of volunteers and foster parents. There are two Linda's who are the backbone of this group. Call either 403-381-9269 or 403-327-0853.”
Purrfect Endings RescueThis rescue organization is run by two wonderfully nice Linda's. I have had the pleasure of speaking with one by phone and meeting the other in person. When my Mickey went to Rainbow Bridge, I wanted to donate her things to a worthy group to know that Mickey was continuing to make a difference in this world. I don't have a vehicle, but one of the Linda's came to me to pick up all of the donations. I continue to support Purrfect Endings now by purchasing two cans of cat food a week (and sometimes treats). When I have three months worth of food to donate, I call the Linda closer to me, and she and I meet again. Purrfect Endings has a program where supporters can choose a cat and donate to "adopt" them to help offset their expenses.
