“Multi-use park north of Laurier Park and Buena Vista Dr. plus south of Melton Ravine (approx. 88 Ave.). Does not include pedestrian bridge access trail, Yorath property and trail north to McKenzie Ravine. Across from the Valley Zoo. Hot-air ballon take off site as well.”
The only place to go!This is probably the best off leash park for dogs. The actual off leash area is well set off from the parking lot and road. It is a massive green area that is surrounded by dirt and gravel trails that meander throughout. One of the major off leash trails leads down to the North Sask. River where there is a sandy beach for the dogs to play on and in the water. The river's flow is very light within the 30 or so feet close to the beach making it ideal for water play with no worries. |
