South BayThe Dr's at South Bay are the best of the best. All Diplomates in their field!! When Haighti went there for a bad upset stomach Dr. Brigid Nicholson was able to find something no other doc could, that she had something going on with her spleen. Good thing she did because Haighti would up needing is out immediately!! She saved her life!! Everyone there loves animals and it's obvious. Thanks to Dr. Nicholson Haighti is now wonderfully healthy. They have a state of the art surgery and oncology department as well and when our beloved bear got cancer in 05, they gave him 6 months, but after surgery and chemo he lived for an extra year and 1/2 thanks to Dr. Ettinger and the great nurses there! You will need a recommendation from your vet to see any of the docs here. Dr. Nicholson saved my baby girls life. If you need oncology or other specialty....Buster has had tumors and also has a heart problem. He has received excellent, compassionate care from oncology docs Susan Ettinger and Ravi Dhaliwal, as well as surgeons and a visting cardiologist. The doctors do a good job of explaining complicated medical matters in language that is somewhat understandable. Everyone here has been extremely pleasant and kind, and upbeat given that many of their patients are very sick. Highly recommended. |
