Our two doctors--combining 20 years or more in practice--are devoted to progressive, compassionate veterinary care and to the most modern, best practices in the profession. Dr. Feigenbaum believes that medical care for pets is best achieved as a collaborative effort, and thus places great emphasis on educating clients and fully explaining all treatment options. She has a gentle and loving approach, and prefers non-invasive options whenever possible. Dr. Feigenbaum feels that providing care in the home is much less stressful for both pets and their human care-givers, especially for animals that are nervous in a hospital environment, or have painful or debilitating conditions.

Forget the stress of taking your pet to a clinic, Dr. Behrens comes to you. And he is also available by phone and email to guide the continued treatment of your pet.

Dr. Adam Behrens grew up in New York City and graduated from the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine. In between, he had many dogs, birds, and cats. He always loved animals but this is his second career. His dream to be a veterinarian started when he volunteered as a technician with a housecall veterinarian in Manhattan. The opportunity to help people and their pets, in the comfort of their own home, is the reason that Dr. Behrens became a veterinarian.

Dr. Behrens has spent four years in veterinary family practice in the Bay Area. He has provided emergency, medical, and surgical care for dogs and cats. He has also volunteered with Veterinary Street Outreach Services, providing free care to the San Francisco homeless population.

Dr. Behrens lives in Cow Hollow with his wife Elle and their two cats, Pascal and Buster.
