Ride the cable car with your pup!

You can ride the cable car with your dog! They have to be leashed and muzzled-- however the cable car operators accept gentle leaders and other head-collars as muzzles. Some operators will allow you to wrap the leash around your pup's nose instead of muzzling them. Pets are not allowed between 5-9 AM and 3-7 PM, and you have to pay full fare for your pet. You can catch the cable car at Powell and Market and take it to either Fisherman's Wharf or Ghiradeli square-- both pup friendly places as well! The views are great! If you have a skittish pup you might want to sit on the inside of the cable car to decrease the risk of them jumping off!
