Esprit Park is hidden 1 square city block park in San Francisco's Dog Patch neighborhood. The park recently went through major renovations and is in good shape. After the renovations the city expected it to be a no dog park, but residents had long come to enjoy it as a dog run, so an agreement was reached between ALL neighbors and SF Parks Dept. The north half of the park allows for an off-leash dog play. The south side is on-leash. Out of respect for the neighbors without dogs that allowed for the dog run area, please keep all extended dog play to the north half as this will best ensure the SF Park Dept. acceptance of any off-leash area will continue.

In the last 50 years and old Navy pier has been converted into a wetlands area park. It's a unique land spit extending into the bay that also serves as a haven for migratory and estuary birds. Due to the fragile bird habitat it's important to keep all dogs on leash that have any interest in rummaging through undergrowth and chasing wildlife. But it's a great place. At the end the spit it's completely fine for dogs to be off leash. There's a also a calm bay for the swimmers!

This is a nice new landscraped park alongside Mission Creek. Though officially an on-leash park, the park crew and security never ask anyone to leash up. The grass is in great shape and they've made little rolling hills the dogs enjoy. Water dogs will love running in and out of the creek. There is plenty of parking nights and weekend, except when there's a home Giants game or event at the stadium.

Dolores Street and 18th Street
