Dr. Cohen, an Internal Medicine Specialist for pets, was the very first with his credentials here in Orange County, California. Now, with over 30 years of experience, he remains on the progressive "cutting edge" of the veterinary profession while remaining constant in the hearts of those who entrust their pets to his expertise and comprehensive care. Throughout the years, whether Dr. Cohen was teaching young veterinarians, lecturing to practicing clinicians, or volunteering in an administrative capacity, he always remained "in the trenches" providing direct care for sick and injured animals. ”
"Veterinarian of the Year!"I haven't had a pet of any kind for many years and I took my dog to various vets over the last 8 months until I was told (wrongly) by a local guy that my Labrador Retriever had hip problems called dysplasia. My dog had never had a problem walking, running or jumping for the ball. My breeder far away in San Diego recommended I get another opinion and to go see "Dr. Jeff Cohen in Newport Beach" and then I asked another Lab person and they said "Dr. Cohen in Newport Beach"---seems they have an amazing reputation. I really enjoyed the experience--the staff was great and although they were very busy, they served me coffee and helped ease my mind. This doctor couldn't have been better! The other vet's x-rays were not straight and Dr. Cohen showed me easily on his x-rays that my dogs hips were okay and just to be sure, Dr.Cohen sent them off to a place to be certified and they came back "Excellent." When I think that another vet wanted my pooch to have unnecessary and expensive surgery she didn't need---aaaargh! This is now my regular veterinarian forever and my dog loves going in to this place. I'm just so happy I found Dr. Jeff Cohen and his great team. |
