“Lange Foundation is dedicated to saving impounded companion animals, and preparing them for their journey to a new safe, loving home. Our mission is to rescue animals in need and to find them kind, caring and loving forever homes. Many of the animals we rescue are those that would be otherwise overlooked. We rescue young and old, the sick, the injured, the disabled and those inexplicably passed over. We provide the necessary medical care, TLC and training in order to prepare them for their journey to a forever home. In addition to saving impounded pets, we have also initiated an ongoing sterilization program to dramatically reduce the number of unwanted pets born in Los Angeles County. We provide funding for spay and neuter surgeries to those pet guardians who are unable to afford the cost. We provide easy access for the pet guardians by sending them a voucher to a Veterinarian whose practice is near their home. Feral cats are also included in this program, and we are proponents of the TNR policy ”
