Blue Bell Foundation is a Non-Profit retirement haven for catsThe Blue Bell Foundation (previously known as the Blue Bell Country Club for Cats) is a retirement haven for felines, currently home to approximately 50 cats. Set on 2 acres, we are a fully-licensed NON-PROFIT facility, which is a cozy cottage complete with an outdoor-enclosed patio. There is a separate building for special-needs kitties. We are very familiar with this great organization as our kitty Skyler is living there after our youngest daughter developed asthma and other allergies and became sensitive to our cat's pet hair and dander. When it came to finding a suitable home for a 10 year old cat, the Blue Bell was our first choice as it's a beautiful home in Laguna Canyon that was built just for cats. There are plenty of cat beds, climbing trees, ponds, kitty toys, and a screened patio for outdoor time. Skyler has been doing very well there. He even has his own personal trainer that comes in to exercise him since he had a few pounds to lose. It's a wonderful non-profit if you are looking to make a tax donation as these people truly love cats. Skyler is loving all the attention he gets and has made a ton of kitty friends. http://www.dovecanyon.org/bluebell/ posted: February 23rd, 2007 |
