FOCAS is a volunteer-driven, nonprofit organization formed to help the lost and abandoned dogs and cats in the three San Diego Department of Animals Services' shelters. FOCAS believes that a pet is a part of the family and strives to make the best possible match between human and pet so that it will be a happy and rewarding relationship. Once you’ve determined that a dog or cat is the right companion for you, FOCAS will work with you throughout the adoption process.
