Great place!

Miyuki says: I love you BEBHS! *doggy kisses all around* Mommy says: Hands down, one of the best places to adopt. The people are knowledgable, friendly and they really know their animals! They do a ton of work to get the dogs and cats socialized. They offer training courses at really reasonable prices. I highly recommend checking them out if you're looking for a new family member.

I love BEBHS!

This is a wonderful shelter that works hard to provide loving homes for dogs and cats in the East Bay. They also provide many community outreach programs and classes for dog owners. Their summertime Bay to Barkers fundraising event is not to be missed!

Great shelter, great training!

This is a great animal shelter! They have friendly, knowledgable staff and good pets. Their training program is great as well! Nancy Frensley is in charge of their training and all of her classes are excellent! I highly reccomend them for your next pet and for training your current or future pet.
