Rescue Organizations PO Box 1622 St Johns, AZ 85936 Blackhat Humane Society, a non-profit organization started in 2000, rescues and rehabilitates animals from the Navajo Nation in NE Arizona (an area roughly the size of West Virginia). Animals are cared for in foster homes until adoption. All animals are vaccinated and spayed/neutered prior to adoption. We are funded solely by donations. 98% of our money goes to veterinary care. In 2006, we found loving homes for 234 dogs, 48 cats and 3 horses.
Campgrounds On H 180/191 11 miles E of St Johns St Johns, AZ 85936 This park shares the ancient historic Pueblo Trail, and offers many sites of interest and villages of the Hopi people. Dogs of all sizes are allowed, and there are no additional pet fees for tent or RV sites. There is a $5 one time additional pet fee for the cabins. Dogs must be leashed and cleaned up after. The camping and tent areas also allow dogs. There is a dog walk area at the campground. Dogs are allowed in the camping cabins.
