“Grassy separated fenced in areas for large and small dogs. There are a hand full of benches on either side and some small trees have been planted around the perimeter some day they will give some shade. There are water spigots with buckets underneath for the dogs seems the water always runs cool. double gated entry. Always stocked with plastic bags for poop pickup and a big trashcan on either side for disposal.”
This park has lately been overrun by individuals who don't think the rules apply to them. I've seen days where there've been as many as three uncut dogs in the park. The owners bring these dogs over to the small dog side, because the big dogs won't tolerate that much testosterone without protesting. I watched one of these owners berate an owner of a German Shepard who was barking from the large dog side, telling her that _her_ dog was a problem. His dog was big (40lbs?) pit bull or mix. The dog was a gentle gem, I've no problems with the dog's personality or behavior. But an uncut dog brings problems. That's why they are banned from the park. It's clearly posted that all dogs must be spayed/neutered to be allowed in the park. I don't get the impression that this guy can't read. He just doesn't care. |
I like it hereSo far I've been to this park 3 times and every single time I've had a great experience. The Large dogs are generally well behaved with the small ones even though it's separated. You'll often find all sized dogs on one side because they seem to all get along so well. The owners are nice people who are willing to communicate any problems there might be or just chitchat. The only issue i see with this place is you might want to bring your own water and an umbrella for shade because there isn't much for people. |
