10. A loving donation to a rescue

If diamonds, chocolates, and roses don’t seem like the right gift for your cat fancier, why not make a donation in their honor this Valentine’s Day? The Fayetteville Animal Protection Society used its own adoptable pets as Valentine’s Day card models and is mailing cards in exchange for donations. Check if your local rescues have a similar program, and if they don’t you can always make your own Valentine and then make a donation to go with it.
