Highball glasses, flutes, martini glasses, a flask, a shot glass -- things just taste better with cats.

There’s hardly a shortage of cat-themed items on the market. In case you haven’t heard, cats are kind of the shizz. If you’re reading this, then I assume you’ve heard this bit of news. One can find kitty clothing in discount stores as well as high-end boutiques. Want pencils with cat faces on them? Easy peasy. How about a toothbrush? Suitcase? Pillow? Underwear? Check, check, check, and check.

Okay, let’s get down to business. It’s happy hour and you want to mix up a mean Manhattan, pour a glass of oaky Merlot, or pop open a bottle of hipster home brew. What will be the vehicle transporting these beverages to your lips? If you’re a cat lover, you’ll want to get your hands on something with feline flair. Don’t worry — we’ve got your back. Here are eight ways you can can enjoy a beverage kitty-style right meow. A bonus: After the items have been delivered to your home, your cats can make a nest of the box in which they arrived.

1. Cats Tropical Hawaiian Tiki Mug Set ($29.99)

First, how adorable are these? If I owned this set of tiki mugs from RetroPlanet, I’d use them for all of my drinks. Tap water? Tiki mug. Orange Shasta? Tiki Mug. Bubbling Alka-Seltzer concoction for acid indigestion? Tiki mug. I mean, for real. Tiki must somehow enhance the healing properties of the effervescent tablets.

This set of four mugs is nothing short of glazed ceramic nirvana. Don’t forget the little umbrellas, even in your Alka-Seltzer beverage … because why not?

2. Black Cat Stemless Martini Glass ($14.99)

This handmade glass is created by one of the many talented artists on Etsy. Not only does it celebrate black cats and sport a cool red/orange base, it’s handy for those klutzy drinkers. Like me. Anything with the “stemless” description is A-okay in my book.

3. Green-Eyed Cat Pint Glass ($9.95)

Animal World offers this cool blue pint glass in its lineup of animal-themed gifts. I love it because it’s blue glass, which is way more interesting than the clear kind. Plus, the illustration is awesomely creepy — not in a bad way, though. It’s mesmerizing. I think I’d probably stare at the cat and forget to drink what’s inside the glass … which wouldn’t be beer by the way. I’m not a fan of the stuff, but could see myself sipping a delicious vodka lemonade from the pint glass. When I’m finished staring at the cat, that is.

4. Astro Cat Shot Glass ($12)

Come on! Drinks have got to be out of this world (#sorrynotsorry) when liquor is measured in an astro kitty shot glass from Bread and Badger. Everyone must have space (#sorrynotsorry) in their liquor cabinet for this one. And the art is sand-blasted to boot. Come on!

5. Cat-Butt Etched Champagne Flute Set ($30)

The Etsy artist selling these etched Champagne flutes describes them as “the perfect wedding gift for romantic cat lovers.” Nothing says “I love you” like a heart-shaped cat anus. Haha. No, really — I’d be tickled pink to received these as as gift.

6. General Cat Funny Flask ($23.99)

First, how majestic is this flask? Flasking (appropriately named) is the company that sells these stainless steel flasks adorned with vinyl, waterproof decals. I’d totally trust this smoking cat to hold and protect my booze. He’s is a general, after all.

7. Meow Stemless Wine Glass Set ($16)

Urban Outfitters wins with this set of adorable wine glasses. Again with the stemless! Extra points for that — obviously. But look at that cute, subtle feline-tastic design. That, my friends, is class all.day.long. Love it, love it, love it. Now where did I put that corkscrew?

8. Culver Cats Double Old-Fashioned Glass Set ($39.99)

Stand back — these 14-ounce old fashioned glasses are decorated with 22-karat gold. Theres’s gold on them there glasses! But seriously folks — the design is gorgeous. Wayfair tells us this set as a great gift, and I agree; however, I want a set all to myself. How cool would I look serving up some classy cocktails in these babies? Pretty darn cool. So if anyone is looking to buy me a gift. Just sayin’.
