A young friend recently came to my house to visit with her parents. After she met my four cats, she looked around my living room and said, “Wow! You have cats everywhere!” But she wasn’t talking about the ones she’d just met; she was referring to the cat pictures, figurines, books, and knickknacks. I believe in decorating your home with things you love and, according to my friend, I’m doing a pretty good job. Here are some fun feline products to incorporate into your own home décor.
Need more cats in your home — without the extra cost of feeding? Check out these adorable little crocheted kitties. I saw them at CatConLA back in June, and they instantly made me smile. Crocheted by the artist from her own design and pattern, these cute — and kind of goofy — felines are made from soft, wispy yarn.
I’ve been shopping at World Market since I was a teenager, and I always manage to find something to buy. This Thanksgiving, I plan to bring some feline fun to my dining table with these cute and chubby cardholders. But they don’t need to be limited to your table. Use them to hold notes on your desk — or better yet, use one to hold a photo of your favorite feline so you can gaze at her fondly while you’re at work.
I love Paper Source and can spend hours there looking at all the beautiful decorative papers, rubber stamps, and other fun stuff. That other fun stuff includes these cute cat magnets. Perfect for your fridge or home office filing cabinet, these quirky felines are sure to brighten your day. The set comes with nine magnets in two sizes, and the exclusive artwork is also available on tote bags, spiral notebooks, pencil pouches, and mini journals.
You can never have too many throw pillows – especially if they have cats on them. Available from Manhattan-based Meowingtons, which features a large variety of cat-themed products, these cute and quirky pillows (here are just two examples) make the perfect feline addition to your sofa. And, you can’t go wrong with a company that has six hardworking “catployees.” Check out their profiles on the company’s website.
