Hey, evrybuddy, Skeezix heer.
Last munth win I went to New Yawk, I stopped by the North Shore Animal League in Port Washington, wich is on Lon Guyland.
North Shore Animal League saves the lives of more than 20,000 pets a yeer, and it’s been doing so for 65 yeers. It is the largest no-kill animal rescue and adoption organization in the world. And it doesn’t just save New York cats. Right now, it’s down in Nashville helping save the lives of cats and dog victims of the flooding.
Recently, they saved the life of Kate, a very yung and very pregnant female. She promptly gave berth to five helthy kittens, and proved to be an exsellent mother. She and her kittens are always in a pile and Kate attends to their every meow. In fact, Kate was such a grate, nurturing mother that they had an idea. You see, there was this rescued orfun kitten who really needed a mother…
So two days after Kate gave birth, they added a byootiful calico orfun to her litter and watched with grate anticipation. Kate sniffed the newest member of the kitten clan and lovingly accepted her instantly. Three days later, they added a second orfun who was only one day old. Without hezitation, Kate took this tiny kitten in as well.
Those who support the North Shore Animal League’s HELP (Help Every Little Pet) Program saved Kate and her kittens lives. Becuz of their support, Kate was not only able to mother her own kittens in state-of-the-art environment; she was able to care for two orfuns that were deprived of their mothers love.
So, think of Kate this Mother’s Day, and consider making a donation in your mother’s name to the North Shore Animal League or other animal charity.
