Cats Show They Can Squeeze Into Nearly Anything for a Nap

These funny cat pictures are part of the Instagram hashtag phenomenon known as "If I Fits I Sits."

Is there anything grander than the ancient spectacle of cat in a box? On the basis of the “If I Fits I Sits” hashtag trend, maybe, yes, perhaps there is. But of course, the barely tempered embers of a fire-pit make for a handy warmed outdoor cat bed.

My own cat, Mimosa, has this exact same toy. After playing with it once, she now ignores it — although at least this forward-thinking feline has been proactive about finding another use for the contraption.

Five a day the feline way!

I have absolutely nothing negative to say about these two partners in cuteness. Excellent #ififitsisits work on display here.

Has your cat worked into an impossibly tiny space to cute and funny effect? Tell us — and leave photos — in the comments.
