Happy Habitat for Indoor Cats

Of all the outdoor habitats, the Happy Habitat is one of the largest and the easiest to set up, and it's only about $50. It provides an opportunity for indoor cats to enjoy the outdoors, get sunlight and some fresh air. More importantly, it provides sensory stimulation that will help keep bored indoor cats from developing behavioral problems. Click here for more info.

BOLT Interactive Laser Pet Toy

Once a cat becomes addicted to the red dot game, you're only weeks away from suffering from a Repetitive Stress Disorder from playing red dot every minute that your cat is awake.

The FroliCat BOLT Interactive Laser Toy can come to your rescue. Even the laziest cat will delight in its automatically-generated red laser patterns. Simply place it on a flat surface, turn it on and watch your cat pounce, chase, and bat at the exciting laser patterns. Use it in automatic mode where it generates random patters or in manual mode where you can control the action. The laser automatically shuts off after 15 minutes in either mode (WAY too short, according to Skeezix) and also includes a manual on-off switch. Requires 4 AA batteries (not included).

SpotBot Pet Compact Deep Cleaner (The "Barfinator")

I coveted this after seeing a demo at BlogPaws and was lucky enough to get one for my birthday this year. With the SpotBot, any stain will pull a Houdini and disappear, even if it has already set.

The SpotBot is set-it-and-forget-it easy to use. You simply place it atop the "stain," press a button, then sit back and relax -- when it finishes, the spot is gone.

The only downside to this product is the amount of cleaning solution you'll go through. It's analogous to ink jet printers being relatively inexpensive, with the profit being made on the ink cartridges. As for me, the convenience this machine offers is worth the cost.

Bissel offers several models ranging in price from around $53 to about $155. Click here to look at all the models.

The Three Lives of Thomasina DVD

If there is a crazy cat lady baby boomer on your Holiday Gift List, there's a chance that this is one of her favorite childhood movies.

It not only was my favorite, but it is also the first cinematic use of cat clothing AND a cat stroller: yes, this movie was way ahead of its time.

A classic Disney movie, it's timeless and sure to enchant all cat ladies, old and young, as well as a few cat guys. Click here for more info.
