Here Is Your Chance To Adopt Grumpy Cat's Doppelganger
Do you lay awake at night dreaming about cohabiting with your very own Grumpy Cat? Dwell in limbo no more, as a cat who is being billed as the Grumpster's doppelgänger is currently up for adoption.
Like Grumpy, who we recently honored as one of our official 12 Cats of Christmas, this 8-month-old boy kitty likes to affect a crotchety and curmudgeonly face to the world. Our friends over at Jezebel have described him as "more like Grumpy Cat's gently disapproving younger brother." A fair summation, for sure.
At the moment, Grumpy's twin-of-sorts is being called Spades (though you'd be free to switch that out to something altogether more crabby-sounding). He's also said to be a purebred Siamese.
Spades is apparently a little bit of a timid kitten, though we'd like to think that's really just his Grumpy-esque dissatisfaction with the world around him. Here he is pulling one of his faces:
Interested parties can pursue their application through the Jersey Animal Coalition. You can peruse a pre-adoption form over at the organization's website -- though it doesn't specify whether it'll be the ol' Grumpster herself who has the final say on where her little lookalike ends up.
