Cat Owner's Manual › Chapter 8: Cat Health Care › Visiting the Veterinarian With Your Cat ›Intro: Visiting the Veterinarian With Your Cat
Barring emergencies, most cats will require a handful of veterinary visits during their first year of life and annual visits thereafter. Listed on the following pages are approximate guidelines of when you should expect to have the cat serviced and what you can expect from your veterinarian. Ideally, a kitten's first visit to the clinic should take place before it goes to your home. Follow-up visits should be done as your service provider recommends.
