Weighing a Cat

  1. Weigh yourself on a bathroom scale (Fig. A).
  2. Pick up the cat and weigh again (Fig. B).
  3. Subtract the first weight from the second weight (Fig. C).
  4. If the cat resists being lifted, cancel the process immediately (Fig. D).
