A Cat's Physical Requirements

It is true that most cats require very little physical exercise to stay fit. However, active breeds need regular playtime with their owner, if only to burn off enough energy so that they sleep through the night. If you're not interested in dragging a length of string through the living room, more sedentary models such as the Persian may be a good choice.
