But only on his front thumb nail.I have had him since he was an 'infant' he has never had a stressful moment in his life.I have cut his nails since he was a baby ....and luckily, as a result...he does not seem to know that he has any. He never scratches furniture or anything ...except the scratching cat tree..and the carpet. When you see him do this...he looks like a total mental patient.:) My little Burmese, Monkey occasionally does this on her back feet. ,when she does it ..it seems more like some "grooming" thing. Also my 2yr old calico Cali used to do it alot to where there used to be blood and missing fur around the nail area. She did it out of being bord. Granted i have millions of toys and her sisters. I had to wrap her paws for a few weeks to get it to stop. Got her interested in other things and I havent seen her do it since.
