What's the best dental gel?

This forum is for cat lovers seeking everyday advice and suggestions on health-related issues. Remember, however, that advice on a public forum simply can't be a substitute for proper medical attention. Only your vet can say assuredly what is best for your cat.

Taz had her teeth cleaned last year but the vet says she has some build up again. He doesn't think she needs to go through the whole ordeal of a cleaning but he does think we need to start brushing her teeth. Taz disagrees.

I've read that there is some kind of gel that we can rub on her teeth and after some googling there seem to be a bunch of different brands. Anyone know which is the best?

I use Maxi Guard for my cats. It doesn't contain alcohol and it comes with a tube of Vitamin C which you mix into the gel. I got mine at the vet's office but you can get it off Amazon.
