Hi Miss Belle. Meowma said that you can have your people, rub a USED dryer sheet
on you. But to make sure that you are eating a good quality cat food.
You need a lot of Omega 3 fatty acid to keep your fur shiny and not full of static.
eek
Meowma was something called a Groomer, for 12 years.
Now she is a part time,Pet Nutrition Specialist for The Nutro Company!

I would have to agree with the other cat. I am a mighty hunter and I also have eaten my share of birds and there feathers. But if you are concerned, please have your pplz call your Vet and do as they say. Best of luck and please let us know how things go .

I do not have much of a meow ether. Mom calls me squeaker sometimes, because of it.
I would also agree about finding a different Vet. Best of luck and please keep us all posted on what you find out.hug

I would have to agree with allergies! You should see my face last week! I was scratching it to pieces! kitty I would ask your Vet about a generic Benedryl (Diphenhydramine). Meowma does in store demos for Nutro, and when she works at a Petco when the vet is there, giving shots, they give out papers with the dosage for cats and dogs.
1-5 lbs give 5mg = 1/2 tsp children's syrup 2-3 times daily as needed.
10 lb cat give 10mg = 1 tsp " " see above
15 lb Cat is 15mg or 1 1/2 tsp or 1/2 adult tablet. see above
20-30 lb Cat= 25 mg or 2 tsp liquid or 1 Adult tablet, see above

1 Adult tablet or capsule equals 25mg

1 tsp liquid equals 12.5 mg
1 tsp = 5cc or 5 ml

I hope it helps, but you should ALWAYS ask your VET BEFORE trying anything!
As Meowma is not a Vethug

Cats and a Clean Home > Ant Extermination

Ben is right. What Mom had to do for her Aunt was to put there food bowls inside another dish filled with water ,like a moat. mol
But around our house, Mom uses this liquid called "Ant-Kill" by Protexall Products,INC
it for controlling sweet and grease feeding ants. But and this is a BIG But, it has to be kept away from us cats. Meowma makes an ant trap of her own, by putting some in a folded down plastic, paper or Styrofoam cup with 4 small holes, just above the bottom.Just make sure we can not eat or rip them apart. Now batting them around is different. Mom got it from a place called Publix, it is a Grocery Store here in Florida. But you can Google the stuff if you want and see where you may be able to find it. Best of luck, they can be hard to get rid of sometimes.

You remind Meowma of Me. But we also have a black and white Tuxedo cat.
His name is Sootball. Meowma was a Professional Pet Groomer for 12 years, and now she is a Pet Nutrition Specialist for The Nutro Company.
She has had dogs in her life before she was born. Now through allergy testings, she was told that along with a bunch of things outside, she is allergic to dogs!MOL.. check out all 3 of our dogs through my Family section, they all sleep in bed with her, along with 1 or 3 of us cats. She has to get injections every month and stays on Claritin (Loratadine). It does not make her sleepy at all. We are glad the dogs do not bother her that much.It can be worse having all the windows and the front door open, like it is right now, then the dogs.
Best of luck with the allergies...I know you have gotten a lot of answers to what kind of cat you are, so I wanted to share the allergic part with you. We are all glad it does NOT interfere with the job she loves!

Cat Health > Are these toxic?
P.C.

aka, Squeeker,- Toeboy or- Perfict Cat

Purred: Thu Dec 1, '11 8:14pm PST
All 4 of us live in Florida, If citrus fruit or peels were toxic, we would be in bad shape. But like what was already said, the oils made from then can be toxic. But just cutting them up and placing in your tree will not hurt. May just make a sticky mess and draw bugs though.
Best of luck and we hope you find something that work, please keep us all informed as to what works for you.
