Sherlock and- Kritter Two are trouble     Purred: Wed Mar 3, '10 8:17am PST  Thanks for the purrs, Chibi. Like Izzie said...an ultrasound cost will depend on the area and the vet. I do know the vet told me it would be about 85.00 for the blood work to try and find out what is causing the murmur. Izzie, how's your weather over there? It is sunny here today. Sherlock and- Kritter Two are trouble     Purred: Tue Mar 2, '10 6:34pm PST  Val! A hearing aid?! I've had one since I was 6 (that was 45 years ago)! Mine is over the ear, too. In fact...I'm supposed to wear one in each ear, but I only wear the one for the left ear. My right ear is so bad (nerve damage from the mumps) that the aid for that ear transfers the sound to my left aid. I did wear the right one for awhile..but that ear never had an aid until last year and it was bothering me too much. I read lips mostly anyways. (I LOVE closed captioning!! ) Hey Fake Cats ...I took Sherlock and Kritter to the vet today for their vacs and health exam...Kritter has a heart murmur. I really can't afford the bloodwork to try and find out what is causing it. Have any of you had a cat with one? What can I expect? Sherlock and- Kritter Two are trouble     Purred: Thu Sep 11, '08 11:55am PST  I don't know if this will help...Sherlock's ears were gunky, too. The vet said he had ear mites and gave me stuff to clean them. Did that. Went back the next year-same thing. Kritter came to live with us-Sherlock's ears were fine!
