Hi orion, sorry, to hear you have a upset tummy. well, when that happens over here, 1/4 teaspoon of regular strength kaopectate, seems to do the trick. check with your vet first or call a er vet and ask them. depending on how upset tummy, they get 1-2 for one day. after that, we call the vet. the white seems to be normal, cause after lady tosses up a furball, she then tosses of the clear/white foam. we hope orion feels better.

Hey Loki, Sammie has asthma too. found out in 2012, we always thought it was a furball. Sammie has been on Prednisone since then. how we do him is how often his attacks are, we have him 1 pill every 4-7 days, right now its once a week, will see if his asthma attacks increase during the summer. in sep 2012, we ran blood work on Sammie, everything came back perfect. so, any questions, feel free to pawmail us.

ask your vet about trying to put some over the counter antibiotic cream with pain relief. not the ointment, the cream. the cream absorbs into the skin, and the pain relief will numb the area. do not think your a bad pawparent, your kitty needed surgery, and you had it done, thats not being a bad pawparent.

Sammie has asthma too. can not remember if it was 09 or 10 when we realized he had asthma. since we found out, sammie has been on Prednisone, with out any side effects. sammie had bloodwork back in sep, 2012. everything came back normal. depending on how his attacks go, we have him on one pill every 3-7 days. right now its one every seven days. my vet said if you keep the pills spaced apart, you really should not have any problems. my vet also said, its when the kitty gets a pill once a day for like 6 months or more, thats when the problems of side effects can start. also, now, when sammie has an attack, unless you are in the same room, you can not hear him cough. his attacks are one little cough and thats it. also, het gets a half a pill in the morning, the other half at night. every kitty is different, but, we hope this helps. we did take him try to take him off the Prednisone, that lasted about a week or two, then he started coughing again. any questions, feel free to ask.
