Purred: Sat Feb 16, '08 9:01am PST
Saturday, March 22nd
1:00PM-2:00PM

Every year millions of cats are surrendered to local animal shelters in the United States. Behavior reasons that can be prevented and treated are often the reason for kitty divorce. Whether or not you’ve already made or are thinking of making a commitment to a feline, this workshop is for you!

Our Feline Behavior Specialist, Kerrie McKeon, will go over the top 5 behavior reasons cats are given up and how you can prevent them:

• Housetraining Problems
• Destructive Behavior
• New Member of Household (Including how to prepare for a new baby)
• Not Enough Time: Your change in schedule is affecting the cat’s behavior
• Cat’s Energy Level & Nocturnal Behavior

Siamese > Coco needs a home!

Dusty

Purred: Sat Feb 16, '08 8:57am PST
Looking incredible for his age, Coco was clearly well taken care of for the first 12 years of his life. Recently, this seal point Siamese wound up at the city shelter when his owner went into a nursing home. Now this cuddly, vocal senior is homeless and we at Bideawee are searching for a loving family to take him in! He can get cranky and give "love bites" when he is not given your undivided attention, so an adult-only home is best for Coco. We believe he gets along well with other cats and even dogs. He is de-clawed on all four paws.
