It sounds like that awful SPCA vet needs to go back to school and learn to do things properly! HISSSSS!!! We're all so glad you got to a good vet who knew how to take care of you, and you're now home & doing so much better. We'll be purring & Mama will be praying that you are completely well soon. If Nibbler is under a year old and has already had a tough time, tho, I think you should be safe and take him to see your vet. Sounds like an upper resp. infection and they can get those so easy just from stress or change in environment. The pedialyte is good, but if you can get the vet to give you some sub-q fluids and show you how to give them, that can help alot, too. As for food, use the stinkiest food you can find. Cats won't eat if they can't smell.
