Saying Goodbye: Memorials & Support > Prayers For Stalker And His Humans

My Sister's, Gracie and Heidi (in memory), and I, would so appreciate your thoughts and prayers, as, our cousin, Stalker, not a Catster member, is being taken to the vet, and, very likely, will end his journey, on this earth, and go home, to the Bridge.

The Vet has judged Stalker, as 18 or 19 years old. He had dealt well, with blindness, the last few years, but he has end stage kidney failure. Recently, he has continued to lose weight, and he is losing control of his bodily functions, and seems to be in pain.

The time is probably here, to say goodbye. In his hey day, he was a real character, and he is so dearly loved, he will be forever missed.

A tough, sad day, for his family.

We know we can count on our Catster family to send his family love and prayers and Huggs!

Thank you so much, you are the BEST!

We would appreciate, so much your purrs and prayers of comfort, to good friends of our Human Mom's.

Holly and Charlie are wonderful animal lovers, who have a large home and have rescued a number of Cats and two Dogs.

Last Monday one of the Cat's they were closest to, died of a heart attack, no warning of illness at all. Hal was about 13, and had been with them for ten years.

A few weeks earlier, another senior kitty of theirs, died in her sleep, in her kitty bed, again, no warning.

They know they gave their pets wonderful lives, and that they were very loved , but they are very sad and miss them terribly.

Our Bridge Sister, Heidi, Gracie and I, along with Mom, would sure appreciate you sending them a Hug and a Prayer.

Thank You So Much.

Thanks, everybodykitty

We have a cousin, Foo, an orange Tabby. Foo is now 17 years old. His Dad, was our Mom's Brother. Four years ago, Mom got the most awful news, her Brother had died from a massive heart attack, not long before Christmas.

Foo went to live with his Dad's adult Son and Wife, and went from being a indoor/outdoor country cat, to a totally indoor city cat.

Foo is doing pretty well for an old gentleman, and Mom says he probably spends a lot of time, dreaming of his glory days of roaming the beautiful area where he lived. But, there were coyotes and mountain lions, bears, owls, hawks!

He must have developed good survival instincts, but, we think being a pampered city cat, has it's benefitscheer

Thanks again for your continuing purrs and prayers for Annabelle!

UPDATE:

Mom went back to work today and talked to Annabelle's Mom.

Annabelle is doing a bit better. Moving pretty slowly, sore, no doubt, and not eating a lot yet, but, better (knock pawskitty)

Annabelle's vet told her Mom that when something like this happens, the natural reaction of the victim, is to go into shock and it takes awhile.

We're hoping that with lots of TLC, she'll keep getting betting. Meantime, we're sure she'd appreciate all the continuing prayers and purrs that you can spare!

Thank you all SO Muchcheer

Mom says that before our Sister, Heidi, was called to the Bridge, she had a couple of scary episodes that Mom wasn't sure she'd pull through, but, she did.

We Cat's are pretty toughkitty

Annabelle is young, barely 4, and fiesty; combined with purrs and prayers, we're hoping she'll be on the road to recovery.

You're the best,
Checkers, Gracie, Heidi in Memory

Hi All:
Can we ask a HUGE favor.
Our Mom's Office Manger has a 4 year old Calico, Annabelle. She is not on Catster, but, she could sure use some purrs and prayers.

Annabelle is a mostly indoor Cat, who sometimes goes out in her yard. The day before yesterday, she went out and did not come home for hours.

When she came home, she appeared to have been attacked by something. Her Human Mom suspects a Dog or Coyote, but, the Vet said that more often than not, a kitty doesn't survive that type of attack, so, they're not sure what happened.

Annabelle is at home, but, not doing great and if she doesn't perk up, she'll be going back for more tests to see if there might be internal injuries.

She did not appear to have any broken bones, but several bites.

We'd sure appreciate Catster's sending the power of the paw, Annabelle's way; her Mom could use some good vibes, too!

Thank all, so much, Love you!

It's been sometime since MOM has had much computer time, but, as always, Gracie and I keep all of the Catster Community in our prayers, especially those in need and/or, who have made their journey to the Bridge.

Our Bridge Sister, Heidi, has been welcoming new arrivals for almost 5 years now. Mom misses her, but, knows she has a wonderful home, and we hear those Catnip Fields are something to see!

Bless you all, you're in our prayers; as are your Humans who care for you, and when the time comes, have the sadness of saying goodbye.

As Heidi says, "there really is no goodbye, even when we have to leave you, physically, we're never further away than a memory".

As Always, Love and Purrs with Huggs,
Checkers, Gracie and Heidi in Memory

Encouraging news, Catster friendscheer

Cinder went to the Vet on Monday. (I am trying to get Mom to let me type this, not working so well )!

His appetite had picked up and his blood work looked better. His family and friends are very happy and we're hoping that Cinder continues to be a fighter!!

Will he live to be 20? Probably not, but, we continue to hope and pray that he has some good, quality time left.

Once again, Thank You for the power of the PURR~we know that Cinder and his Humans would appreciate you keeping this cool guy in your thoughts and prayers.

Luv ya always,

Checkers and Family
