To be honest, I don't believe in feeding cats (or dogs for that matter!) raw food. But it is supposed to be harmless and healthy.

I believe that would be okay. You can also freeze dry them and serve them as a treat to him. He would love that! smile
You just have to make sure there is no bones in it. As long as there are no bones, it would be fine to add grinded/cut up mice to his food.

Hope this helps!

Cat Health > Indoor cats with fleas - help!

Mikko has had fleas before. Luckily he does not have thick fur, so it is not hard to get rid of them. Fleas are a pest indeed!
I used Zodiac Flea Spray. You can get flea bomb for your fabric/furniture. If they are still there after one use, wait a week to use it again.
I do not recommend Hartz. It is not a good product and it can harm your pet(s). Advantage is a wonderful product and it works very well, although it is very expensive. If you go to your vet, I am sure he will recommend it.
Hope this helps!

Yuck! Worms suck.
You should go to the vet and maybe get some worm medication prescribed, or go to your local pet store and buy Tapeworm medication.

Cat Health > Trying to convince friend not to declaw.

Declawing is practically taking away a cats defense. You see a dog bite, not scratch. You see a bunny bite, not scratch, you see lots of rodents bite and not scratch. Declawing a cat is taking away its only defense, cats do bite yes, but their main defense is claws. I totally disagree with anyone who declaws, IMO its cruel, taking away its defense leaving it helpless. Think about it, Take away my hands and feet, my mouth and head. There, now I do not have a defense. I cannot head but, kick, hit, or bite. Tell your friend to think about it that way. Otherwise I do not know what to say, it is just plain cruel to me. Good Luck and I hope you convince your friend to NOT declaw the cat. kitty

I agree with Althena, as Tigger said, you gave this loving kitten a home, cherished him and nursed him, you are wonderful people and your not the cause, for you did your best to help him. You are loving, kind people. Some people would have kept walking and not have payed any attention to Golaith, but you guys did. You helped him and gave him what any animal wants, a loving forever home.

RIP, Golaith. little angellittle angellittle angellittle angel
