THIS IS THE FACBOOK LINK TO THE VIDEO OF A CAT I THOUGHT I FOUND A HOME FOR.

Angel (I call her) was found on the sidewalk when I was walking home from the pharmacy. I happen to carry cat crunchies in my purse so lucky for Angel. As I approached a corner on a very busy street, I glanced to my left and saw a poor kitty approaching people and they were shoving her away. She was at least two houses away from me but when she saw me looking at her, she ran towards me meowing the whole way. Cats are psychic and I know she knew I’d try to help her. I poured out about two thirds of a cup of dry food onto the side walk and she immediately gobbled them down. Then she rolled over onto her back and put her little paws up (front de-clawed!) and purred to me very sweetly. I felt her ribs and back and she was starving. Long fur but her ribs and hind quarter are very bony.
Update… I can’t take her in my apt. because my cat has asthma and a compromised immune system. So I was going to at the very least put her in my back yard because there is 24 hours of food and fresh water I put out for the abandon and ferals in my neighborhood.
Now I see that is not an option because my next door neighbor temporarily took her in and to the vet for a checkup. They said she is not spayed, has the front claws de-clawed, and a chipped tooth which could be painful. Then. They said they think she is about ten years old. This shocks me because I have visited her and she plays like a kitten and loves her mouse. She eats well and is the most affectionate sweet baby.
Now as in finding out all this additional information, my neighbor says I have two days to find her a home. She won’t keep her and when she thought she was young and healthy, she had at least three people who wanted her. Not now! She’s older (they think) possibly hyper thyroid too. But they took a blood test on that and it has not been confirmed. So I won’t bank on that just yet. I at heartbroken because she is so sweet and lovable. HELP! AND NOW!
THE WOMAN SHE IS WITH SAID SHES TAKING HER TO A SHELTER AND THAT MEANS CERTAIN DEATH IN TWO DAYS IF I DON’T FIND HER A HOME. SHE NEEDS TO BE INDOORS. PREFERABLY NO DOGS TO SCARE HER TO PIECES.

i am so proud of my friend bev who owns this website above for all the work she does with feral kitties!
please google lactoferrin for cats and you'll find dozens of pages on lab results and vets pages on this. my baby almost died second day we got her home from horrid upper respritory infection. four more times then my friend from the above page told me about lactoferrin and colostrum. the best magical healer i found. at vitacost.com you can get a good amount rather economical too. this site is the best for all suppliments. i've been using them for over twenty years. this lactoferrin and colostrum is great for humans too. put one capsule (opened and sprinkle the powder) onto wet food with a cap of bottled water and mix it up. each meal like three times a day a week or two weeks and great improvement will show. most natural immune booster there is. for humans:

Laws & Legislation > Decrimilalizing feeding stay and feral kitties!

Catster is the best place to get Kitty help! How about this Meow Friends?
http://www.thepetitionsite.com/3/decriminalize-feeding-str ay-and-feral-cats/

I know Catster can get these signatures! We need over 1,900 more signatures in less than 166 days. Come on! Show everyone what Catster is made of! Yey Kitties! Meow!
Everyday people across the US are threatened with fines and jail time for providing food to homeless cats. Most local Animal Control agencies criminalize feeding community cats. Their solution to cat homelessness is to post feeding bans.

The logic behind such bans is that if there is no food available, the cats will go away. This is not true. Starving out cats will only make the situation worse. Feral cats are territorial animals who can survive for weeks without food and will not easily or quickly leave their territory to search for new food sources. Instead, they tend to move closer into human habitations as they grow hungrier and more desperate. Plus, feeding bans do nothing to stop reproduction, so malnourished cats will continue to give birth, resulting in the visible deaths of many kittens.

People who feed stray/feral cats should NOT be blamed or penalized, but rather encouraged for their acts of compassion. Animal Control should be assisting with resources and information on how to care for and sterilize these animals.

It makes no sense to use tax-payer money to hand out fines and take people to court (or put elderly ladies in jail), when private funds are caring for these cats. Under current laws, individuals and rescue organizations work everyday in a shadow of fear from being persecuted for helping animals, and we are tired of working this way. Feeding bans are rarely effective and are nearly impossible to enforce. Repeated experience has shown that people who care about the cats' welfare will go to great lengths, risking their homes, jobs and even their liberty, to feed starving animals. It makes no sense to penalize people who are trying to improve the situation for homeless animals and for being involved in their communities. Out-dated laws HAVE to change and compassionate people should be encouraged to continue to take care of feral colonies.

i searched on the internet the past two days and left emails and voicemails everywhere. no one returns mails or phone calls. i guess there is no where to turn for a baby who needs assistance like "yesterday"?
