Meowmmy tried that costume thing for Halloween, and it was a disaster! I told her I'm never wearing clothes. Ever. Again. Period.

Yep -- Coop definitely went through that stage. And he's probably the most affectionate cat I've ever met. He gives kisses, headbutts, loves to snuggle, loves belly rubs...but there was definitely a short time when he just wanted to do his own thing.

I think he was also around 7 or 8 months when he went through that phase.

But he's 13 months now, and he's back to his old lovable self.

Fur-riend request is on the way to you!

Coop

Yes, they will make toys out of anything and everything. And Coop's in that "If it's on the floor, it goes in my mouth..." stage.

My friends think I'm nuts because it seems like every two seconds, I'm down on the floor with him, prying open those cute little lips and saying, "What's in your mouth? Drop it!" as I shove my finger in!

Cats in the News > You give Blues a bad name...

Hey, Tash --

Meowmmy said she's almost certain that Carmen will get a better home. She said that usually when there's an animal in the news in New York, the shelters are overwhelmed with adoption requests for that specific cat or dog. So they usually end up going into a better situation than they came from.

And the first thing Meowm thought when she read it was that the poor thing was sick and that's why she was acting out.

It's like Meowmmy always says, if you didn't think it through completely, then don't bring an animal into your home. (She's irked, too!)
Purrs,
Coop

Meowmmy saw this article this morning, and she's kinda freaked. She said this is going to give us Russian Blues a rep!

Hiya, Strider and Welcome!

You might want to buy a toddler lock for the toilet seat. Coop's extremely fascinated with all things in the bathroom. And he's just amazed by the toilet.

And I'd try to keep all rolls of toilet paper out of the reach of little paws -- Coop loves to play with the toilet paper. He's actually become quite an artist with it! But he's destroyed more TP than I've used in the last six months!

Good luck and congrats!
