Fancy feast is crap in my opinion, funny that they would recommend that but put down all other foods without a thought. Perhaps because Royal Canin is owned by Masterfoods they want to cross promote the lesser of the foods that they make?
We feed lots of canned foods, & sell tons! There are great foods out there go to a natural pet food store & read labels.
Wellness
Merrick
Tiki
Instinct
Natura..Evo & Cal Nat & Innova
Weruva
to name a few... | | | | |

Behavior & Training > We want out so badly...

| Purred: Sat Mar 8, '08 3:00pm PST | | | | | Me & My buddy Kibble are bad kitties. We really want to go outdoors, but the humans won't let us for fear of all that is bad out there. We are protesting by being mean and destructive. I pee in innappropriate places (like the dog crate or a basket of laundry) and Kibble eats paper (like kids homework, scholorship application, tax forms etc...).
Would you give in and allow limited outdoor daytime activities? or would you suffer the bad behavior?
We have already had a vet check and are in perfect urinary health and the humans are using DAP and Feliway.
Oh the boxes are cleaned 2ce a day too, so this is not a dirty box issue. This is pure "I want out" behavior

2) pros- no chemicals, by-products, fillers or grains.
We are silky shiny and not too terribly stinky in the box
3) cons- being meat fed we think we are wild and we try to break out of the house whenever a door is opened.
4) interesting fact. hmmmmm we prefer the unfiltered yucky tap water to the lovely filtered fountain. silly us!

No chemicals or by-products...(sounding like a NUTRO rep...) eat less, shed less, poop less.

| Purred: Wed Jul 25, '07 11:22am PST | | | | | make the cat jump up for its food, feed dog in crate. The vet is WRONG. We eat on top of the dogs crate. only we can get there & food does not have to be guarded. The dogs eat a timed meal and are pretty focused on not letting us in their bowls. | | | | |
