Saying Goodbye: Memorials & Support > Prayers For Stalker And His Humans

My Sister's, Gracie and Heidi (in memory), and I, would so appreciate your thoughts and prayers, as, our cousin, Stalker, not a Catster member, is being taken to the vet, and, very likely, will end his journey, on this earth, and go home, to the Bridge.

The Vet has judged Stalker, as 18 or 19 years old. He had dealt well, with blindness, the last few years, but he has end stage kidney failure. Recently, he has continued to lose weight, and he is losing control of his bodily functions, and seems to be in pain.

The time is probably here, to say goodbye. In his hey day, he was a real character, and he is so dearly loved, he will be forever missed.

A tough, sad day, for his family.

We know we can count on our Catster family to send his family love and prayers and Huggs!

Thank you so much, you are the BEST!

I want to join my Sister and beg you to please not feel guilty. You obviously gave your kitty a wonderful life and yes, both with animals and Humans we can appear fine, or, at least not seriously ill, and tragedy strikes, very suddenly.

You did your very best, and at the end, you made the greatest act of love. We count on you, to be strong enough, to do that for us.

Thank you, God Bless and please know, we are never further than a memory! I will be welcoming some very special new Angels today. My Cousin will also be arriving.

It looks like our kitty Cousin, Stalker will also be making the journey today. He is about 19 years old, and blind and in end stage kidney failure.

Like your family, his Humans are terribly sad, he will be so dearly missed, but they need to do what is best for him .

You will see our Sister, Heidi, at the Bridge, and us, one day. Prayers and Huggs!

Purred: Thu Nov 21, '13 10:59pm PST
Hi Catsters:

Our Human has learned of some kitties in Portland, OR, that badly need to be rehomed.

They're all lovely, very well behaved housecats. Their human family are young, have recently had a baby, and then, the Husband lost his job. They're in tough financial straits and are going to have to move in with in laws who, already have 3 Cats. They're very upset and trying so hard to find homes for their kitties.
If anyone can help, or has ideas of who might be able to help, you can email our Mom at turtlewomanpat@yahoo.com
Thanks so much.

We would appreciate, so much your purrs and prayers of comfort, to good friends of our Human Mom's.

Holly and Charlie are wonderful animal lovers, who have a large home and have rescued a number of Cats and two Dogs.

Last Monday one of the Cat's they were closest to, died of a heart attack, no warning of illness at all. Hal was about 13, and had been with them for ten years.

A few weeks earlier, another senior kitty of theirs, died in her sleep, in her kitty bed, again, no warning.

They know they gave their pets wonderful lives, and that they were very loved , but they are very sad and miss them terribly.

Our Bridge Sister, Heidi, Gracie and I, along with Mom, would sure appreciate you sending them a Hug and a Prayer.

Thank You So Much.

Saying Goodbye: Memorials & Support > GOODBYE FOO

Foo, not a member of Catster, was our beautiful, polydactyl, Orange Tabby Cousin.

We'd like to ask all of you wonderful Catster's, to please send some purrrrrrs and pawful prayers for Foo, and his Human's.

Shortly after celebrating Birthday #19, Foo's battle with end stage Renal Failure, caught up with him. He was not eating or drinking, no interest in doing anything, and his family knew it was time to let him go home for a nice long rest, and to be reunited with his original Human, Mom and Dad, who both left this world, much too young.

Foo was born a country cat and a country cat, he was for most of his life. When his Mom died of a brain injury, and several years later, his Dad died of a heart attack, Foo was adopted by his Human's Son and Wife and became an indoor only, city Cat.

His new family loved Foo, too, and took great care of him, for almost 6 years. But, we suspect that Foo spent many a long day dreaming of his glory days of free roaming, in the beautiful countryside, King of his Domain!

Foo had a long wonderful life and now he's free and healthy again. But he will be dearly missed.

We know he was welcomed at the Bridge, by his Human's.

We love you Foo! Your memory will always make us smilelittle angel

Thanks, everybodykitty

We have a cousin, Foo, an orange Tabby. Foo is now 17 years old. His Dad, was our Mom's Brother. Four years ago, Mom got the most awful news, her Brother had died from a massive heart attack, not long before Christmas.

Foo went to live with his Dad's adult Son and Wife, and went from being a indoor/outdoor country cat, to a totally indoor city cat.

Foo is doing pretty well for an old gentleman, and Mom says he probably spends a lot of time, dreaming of his glory days of roaming the beautiful area where he lived. But, there were coyotes and mountain lions, bears, owls, hawks!

He must have developed good survival instincts, but, we think being a pampered city cat, has it's benefitscheer

Thanks again for your continuing purrs and prayers for Annabelle!
