Cat Health > Teeth Cleaning and anesthesia

Zeke Orange boy     Purred: Wed Apr 17, '13 3:26pm PST  I just took my Zeke in for his yearly checkup, he needs his teeth cleaned and probably some teeth removed...the basis teeth cleaning where we live at our vet is $500 and will go up with the extractions. My vet does charge more, but they are super good and they use human grade anesthesia(sevoflourine), cats recover faster and they are not sleepy all day.had other cats that didn't do well under anesthesia so I go only where they use a higher grade of anesthesia..with this they are not so under they had a hard time waking up.
