|We want you pups to stay safe. Mom had a Maltese who ate grass all the time. One day he started to sneeze and cough so violently his front legs would go up over his head.
The vet couldn't figfur out what was wrong and called in a specialist.
Talk about $$$. Mom loved Pippen so much.
No one could help and she was ready to put him down (he was old) to put him out of his misery.
One night he sneezed and sneezed and sneezed unrelentingly. Mom noticed something coming out of his nose.
It was a huge blade of serrated grass that evidently was stuck and embedded flat in his nasal passage and down his throat and couldn't be seen. She pulled it out - yucky mess.
Pippen took a great big breath and sighed in relief.
The vet couldn't believe the size of the blade of grass when Mom took it in to show to him.
Pulling grass outta your buttinskies is one thing, but almost killing you is another.
