White Star Whitester Day is coming ( January 22th )!
White Star Whitester Day is when each Whitester Kitty chooses a non-white
catster kitty to give a White Star Award to. This award you will be giving
can be for any reason. Like starting a purr or birthday thread, helped with
your pet page, officiated your wedding, a great group admin, a very good
friend, or an all around nice cat, etc. Whatever stands out in your mind,
and the possibilities are endless.
One January 22, I will place a thread in "What I love about Catster" and
will let you know when the thread is up. Each of you will place a post in
the thread your chosen catster kitty and why, then pmail the forum link to
the thread for them to have a look for a surprise.
Anyway, we have over 800 PWKC members this year. Let's make this a much
better award day than last years ...

What To Do Now
First: What each of you need to do is choose your special non-white kitty.
In this forum thread, post your kitty along with the kitty page id or URL.
This will help insure that a kitty will not be chosen more than once. To
also help insure that you do not choose a kitty that has received a White
Star in the past, I have included a second post immediately following of
previous White Star Kitties.
It is also wise to send a pmail to your Star Kitty to look for a
special message pmail message on January 22th. Say nothing more other than
they have to wait and you don't want them to miss it. Two to three days in
advance is good, but for recipients who are not on site that often you may
want to message them ASAP and ask them to mark their calendar.
On White Star Whitester Day
First: Post in the public forum thread I will provide with on January 22th,
your chosen kitty and why you feel they deserve this award. Also be sure to
include to contact you to get their award.
Second: Send a pmail to your kitty. Tell them to go to the thread link. Say nothing more. You don't want to spoil the
surprise.
I am unsure how we will deliver the Stars yet, but we can always request an e-mail address. & send them that way.
Even if we cannot get them delivered to the recipents on Sunday we will be able to get them the notification then |  |  | |  |
