Best way to help slim down my Russian Blue

	I am new to the group and was wondering how I can slim down. My mommy took me to the vet this past week and I ama wooping 18lbs. I know I need to loose weight, but my mom never had help a a cat loose weight. She wants me to be healthy. From what she has read, I need to be around 8 to 11lbs. Any suggestions, I know she would be appreciative.
