This is Bo's human mom. We had all of his teeth pulled except his canines last October and he was good for about two weeks and then the condition came back. He is now getting to the point where he is losing weight altho still eats a little bit and we make him soup which he sometimes eats. Its seems there is not any guaranteed cure. Any ideas of what else I can do to keep Bo healthy and eating. I've booked with a specialist vet dentist however we've spent a lot of money already and he is at risk of dying young. Please help if you have any good useful advise. Thanks.

Hi Bo:

I switched Harley to a totally "grain free" food, WELLNESS canned, chicken or turkey. I also give her a little bit of BEFORE GRAINS, chicken crunchies as well. Before all she was getting was the Before Grains. Before I booked the appointment with the specialist to have all her teeth removed, I took her back to the vet for a look see and it seems that her gums weren't as red or inflamed.

Sending lots of purrs to Bo and yourself.
