	But have been really busy with college. I have been meaning to stop in and tell everyone that Macy finally had bladder surgery after being blocked twice in 2 days. While doing the surgery they found the area of irritation that the specialist saw over a year ago and removed it and Macy has been doing well ever since, knock on wood. The surgery was done by another vet I went to for a second opinion after my original vet was content to have me give Macy subq's every day for the rest of his life. I advise everyone that doesn't feel that their vet is doing the right treatments to get a second opinion. I cost a pretty penny but it was worth it to see Macy playing like a kitten again.

	Macy is still doing really well, his hair has gotten back its softness and the best part is that his plume is back to being huge and gorgeous. I am tentatively taking him off the veterinary food and have him on Blue Buffalo dry since he will not under any circumstances eat wet food. I am noticing that the more he goes of the prescription food, the more active and happy he is. So paws crossed that the surgery took care of the issue and we don't have any more attacks.
