I raised & showed Silver Persians back in the 60's and have had nothing but persians until 2 years ago when I got my first Burmese. Kashi is my first JBT. I am definitely in love with the breed. I also have 2 Burmese and a DSH. Kashi is forever chirping & singing to himself but the others don't seem to answer him I am supposed to be getting another little boy JBT quite soon & I was wondering if he & Kashi would "talk" to each other.
Do any of you have any answers for me?

We have two JBT's , one is more vocal that the other but I would consider them pretty quiet.
I really dont think they would "talk" to each other personally its just one vocal cat vs a quiet cat they are most likely just having fun expressing itself.

I know this thread was a bit old, but I figured I'd pop in and put in my two cents anyhow. My Japanese Bobtail talks to my Siamese and vice versa, all the time. Our Siamese might be even a bit more vocal than our JBT. But they do chirp and chatter back and forth far more than other cats I've been around or owned.
